Welcome to the Bromley District Talking News which is a free weekly digest of local news on CD and Cassette.
We record and distribute free audio CDs and cassettes of local news and features for those who cannot see or have a visual impairment. This service is staffed by unpaid volunteers and covers the whole of the London Borough of Bromley. Generously, the Royal Mail bears the cost of delivery, without which the Talking News could not operate.

Why a talking newspaper?
The Talking News keeps blind and visually impaired people in touch with their local community. It also enables our listeners to maintain an active interest in life in and around the borough of Bromley. The arrival of familiar and trusted voices into their homes each week provides a sense of belonging and gives them the independent means of keeping in touch with the local community.
